It is said that we control to the level of our fear? Our beautiful, wise friend, Beverly Bradley will be leading us through a weekend of discovery on how to live free from the exhaustion of control. Beverly is a recovering controller who is learning that God does His best work when she stops trying to manage everything, and that her life is more light-hearted when she loosens her grip. She is the kind of woman who stays up late with a bowl of cereal, watching Jane Austen adaptations, and believes A Muppet Christmas Carol is one of the finest films ever made.
Beverly loves Jesus, honest conversations, and the sacred ministry of her front porch. If you ever wander past her ranch, you’ll find two rocking chairs waiting: one for her, and one for whomever needs a place to rest and share their heart. Karen at Riven Rock Ranch has the same philosophy, and she loves sharing her love of the Lord, and the Ranch with as many people as possible.
Beverly writes to remind women that they are loved, seen, and invited into a life of trust rather than control. Her hope is that this weekend becomes a safe place for you to breathe deeply, and rediscover God who calls you beloved. We pray that every woman leaves with the confidence to walk out their lives in the fullness of Christ, and a renewed sense of peace not pressure.

The weekend includes: 2-night accommodations, teaching and fellowship, times of worship and contemplation, gifts, as well as time to reflect on things that may be holding you captive. Meals include dinner Friday evening, breakfast & dinner on Saturday, as well as breakfast on Sunday. Lunch on Saturday is on your own during free time. Every house, cottage, and cabin has a refrigerator so feel free to bring any beverages or snacks you might want, as well as any items you may need for special dietary restrictions but we always provide plenty of food, beverages, and snacks, and try to honor all special dietary requests! Coffee is also provided in every house, and we know you will enjoy spending time in the beautifully appointed spaces.
Sessions will offer deep insight for thoughtful reflection, and participants will experience solitude with God, engage in small group conversations, and spend time fellowshipping one-on-one and as a group. This is a time to relax in one of the most beautiful places in the Hill Country, find wisdom in God’s Word, and share insights with other participants. We know you will be blessed by your time here on the Ranch.
Check-in begins at 3 pm on Friday, June 12th, and we should finish up by 1 pm on Sunday, June 14th. Payment options are available, as well as additional nights if you would like to extend your stay, and enjoy the Texas Hill Country!
